I enjoy meeting people and have a knack for making people laugh and lifting up their spirits when they are down. Most of the time I am not trying to be funny, but people seem to laugh at what I tell them. I am a single parent. I have been blessed with a young man who is now making his way in this world. He is "my joy" and I have no regrets and no complaints. I do have a serious side. My son tells me that I think too much. I am an analyst by trade and I attribute the analytical ability to my Dad teaching me to play chess when I was in grade school. He and I would play and when I was ready to go outside and play I would set the board up so that all he had to do was checkmate me. The interesting thing, and the thing that I think is so cool about my Dad is that he would watch me as I set the board up [those of you who know how to play chess know that it is a game of strategy; you not only have to decide how you are going to move but you must anticipate your opponent's moves and what moves you want to cause your opponent to make]. Anyway, my Dad let me go outside to play with the kids and he NEVER EVER took the last move to checkmate me!!! I love to read and can discuss almost any topic well enough to be dangerous - LOL. But am not ashamed to confess that I don't know a lot of things. I like to be busy doing something constructive. But I do have days when I just want to relax. I am also a veteran of the United States Air Force (USAF). I have an affinity with all men and women in uniform. They deserve America's allegiance, our support and prayers. I believe that a relationship takes work on both sides whether it is mother to son, man to woman, brother to sister, etc. It isn't 50-50! That's the biggest lie told. You do whatever it takes to sustain a positive, vibrant and prosperous relationship.
