About Me

I have created this page to keep the memory of Chris alive. The official Chris Saathoff Foundation site can be found at www.chrissaathofffoundation.org . Chris was born in Key West, Florida while his dad was in the Navy. After his father got out of the Navy his family moved to St. Jacob, Illinois where his brother Jared was born. At this time he was around 5 and a very good Atari player. They stayed there a few years and moved to Atlanta, GA. From there they moved to Simi Valley, CA. then on to Parker, CO. where he took up the drums and bass and was a very avid skier. Then he moved to Katy, TX. with his family where he played percussion in the school band and won his first talent contest playing drums. Then on to Batavia, IL where he graduated High school and earned a scholarship to Waubonsee Community College and eventualy moved into Chicago where he attended DePaul University. Where he played with Dead Doods, Crack Konnection, Grassy Andy, Sleepout, Chris Playboy and Miss Alex White and Chin Up Chin Up. Chris was a very inteligent person who could pick up almost any musical instrument and play it. He was also a computer programer and a good friend to any one he met. He had a talent to be able to make anyone he met feel comfortable, by Webster's definition that is a gentleman. Early in the morning of FEB 14, 2004 he was killed by a drunk driver as he was crossing the street. Please add your self as a friend and please if you take any thing from this my space, never drink and drive. Also you can visit www.christophersaathoff.com for more on Chris. Donations can be sent to Christopher Saathoff Foundation 102 Serenity Dr. Boerne, TX 78006
