Myspace For Girls Only - MyGirlySpace.comSO.... new year, right? Is this supposed to mean a new improved me? Well, I am always trying to work out any kinks that I may have, but we'll see where 2007 takes me. I can't believe that after what will be 6 years, I will be getting out of the Air Force this year! I am approaching my fifth wedding anniversary. I may be deployed to Iraq again when that happens, but I'm not sure yet! My husband, Joey, is currently in Iraq = ( We got another puppy in '06, so now we have 3 doggies: Toby, Lily, and Buster. I feel like a crazy dog woman....3 dogs but no kids yet! I am loving my second job at Victoria's Secret. I didn't really need another job, but it is fun, stress free, and allows me to meet new friends. It will also help the time pass by while Joey is away! This is my final semester and in May, I will graduate with my AA degree. I will then be applying to finish my last 2 years (clinicals) of nursing school to obtain my BSN(Bachelor of Science in Nursing). I'm still working towards my goal of becoming a Nurse Anethesist! I still miss home (Ohio) everyday and miss all of my family and friends there (you know who you are...call me or email me damnit!!!! Florida has been fun, but I am tired of a winter that only lasts for a month and usually only gets down to 30 degrees, which is a rarity! Things I do for fun are: karaoke (don't laugh!), go out with my friends (drink of choice: COSMOPOLITAN!), and of course my favorite: SHOPPING!!!!! I am a shopping fanatic! I love handbags (Coach and Dooney and Bourke). I am very blessed in my life to have people who love me and some of the best friends, ever! Oh, I recently turned 26! Yikes...I am now officially in my "Upper Twenties!" It sounds bad, but I am trying to make the best out of it! We'll see what the new year brings!!!!!

My Interests

SHOPPING, singing, golfing, going to school and learning new things, volunteering and hanging out with friends and family when I can. While I am currently alone, my puppies keep me company. They can be pretty out of control at times, but fun. My guilty pleasure is reading about celebrity gossip, be it online or in those silly magazines!

Music:

I have a respect for all music, but I love The Dave Matthews Band! They are my favorite so my husband and I go to see them every year in concert (we went to Atlanta in August '06 to see them)! Joey almost kicked some guy's a$$ for flirting with me there! LOL!!! I also like David Gray, Coldplay, Damien Rice, Michael Buble (such a cutie), John Mayer and Gavin Degraw. My mom was a young mom, so I learned to love all 80's music (Journey rocks)! I also like Techno/Dance music (I have some on my iPod for cardio workouts) and classical music (it is so soothing). I have taken a liking to country music within the last couple of years because my husband is from the south, Keith Urban is currently on the top of my list!

Movies:

Dirty Dancing...it's a MUST for all girls Vanilla Sky (some say it is weird, but I loved it), Closer (another weird one...it's about infedelity), The Phantom of the Opera (reminds me of my sister, Erica), Star Wars--yes all of them, and yes that makes me a dork! Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Clerks (1 and 2), Mallrats, Chasing Amy, and all John Hughes 80's movies and Napoleon Dynamite (GOSH!), of course!!!!!

Television:

Nip/Tuck and American Idol (when they're on), The OC (it is so sad it is being cancelled!) and Real World Shows (more guilty pleasures when I have time for TV!) Joey bought me all available Nip/Tuck Season DVDs for Christmas, so I'm taking them with me if I go back to Iraq.I still love Sex and the City (my old favorite)! Books:

The DaVinci Code and The Catcher in the Rye. The last books I have read were: Bergdorf Blondes, Debutante Devorcee and Wuthering Heights (only because I had to read it). I started to read "How to Talk to a Liberal If You Must" but never got finished because I am so busy. I am lucky if I read myspace messages throughout the week!!!!

Heroes:

Military members that have given their lives for America, my husband (for being strong enough to put up with me during hard times) and my wonderful mother, who helped me become the strong woman I am today! Most of all, my brother, Tommy, who has been through some of the most physical pain I have ever seen someone go through (other than while I was in Iraq), and not complain.
