Ahh, a new batch of minds to warp. Errr, mold.

About Me

I am a 28 year old teacher in downeast Maine. I am a native Mainer, and would live nowhere else! I was a music education major in college, but have started getting my Master's in Gifted and Talented. I worked for four years exclusively as a K-8 Music teacher, then changed jobs and added a gifted and talented position. I love teaching, and gifted and talented has been so rewarding. Plus, where else could you get paid for playing chess and messing with Legos?? Now I teach just GT - I went part-time so that I could spend more time with my daughter while she's a baby. They're only little once!

My husband is Andrew, also a teacher. We met in September 1996 as freshmen at UMaine, and have been together ever since. Our daughter Elizabeth was born in September 2005 - I can't believe she's a year and a half old! We are loving parenthood and have another little girl expected the end of April!

So, my daughter finally made her appearance, just one day shy of two weeks past her estimated due date! After one day of early labor that fizzled, then a couple days later things really kicked in. S...
