Hi everyone I'm Iain, pronounced like Ian. I am currently employed by a company called S.A.G.E., which stands for service to achieve growth and empower. It is an independent supported living services organization, funded through Tri-Counties Regional Center. I take care of some great people in our community of Ventura County. They all have one thing in common, and that's a developmental disability. I must say that after doing a job like the one I have, you develop a new perspective on life. The small things in life which we high functioning people call, "stress" or, "problems", don't equate to what I've seen my clients endure throughout their lives.So if you think you're having a bad day, nobody is going to deprive the qualification of it's genuine severity, however, please remain cognizant that you most certainly have many things in your life to be thankful for as well.
