God? i guess that'd be a big one. Others would include Michael Ian Black, J.J. Abrams, Sars/Wing Chun/Glark , Heather/Jessica , Mo Rocca, J.C. Chasez, Rob Thomas (of "Veronica Mars" or Matchbox Twenty), and Paris Hilton. But that last one is really just to hose her down with bleach and then laugh and run away.
Well, when I was younger (birth to 6) I listened to nothing but Motown. Then (6-12) nothing but metal/hard rock. Then (13-17) rock/pop/rap/r&b. Since then (17-???) it's been a combo of all of those plus disco, dance, musicals, and (believe it or not) Celtic folk rock. No, I'm not schizophrenic. Why would you ask a silly thing like that. And, yes I have burned CDs with Megadeath, Guns 'n Roses, *Nsync, and Newsies all on them. I mean... I'm obviously disturbed.
Long, hard, topic here: Camp; Newsies; Hairspray; The Trouble with Angels; Showgirls; Tank Girl; History of the World Pt. I; Blazing Saddles; Spaceballs; Grease, 10 Things I hate about you, Can't Hardly Wait, Bring it on, Airplane!, 9 to 5; 54; Ella Enchanted; Harry Potter (all of 'em); The Adventures of Priscilla Queen of the Desert; To Wong Foo, thanks for everything, Julie Newmar; Charlie's Angels (1 and Full Throttle); Moulin Rouge; Muriel's Wedding; Starship Troopers; The New Jersey Trilogy (all 5 of 'em); The Star Wars Trilogy (the original) The Lord of the Rings trilogy; The Opposite of Sex; A League of their own; Noises off!; X-Men (both and all future most likely); Dirty Dancing; Star Trek: First Contact (and the rest to varying degrees. Except 5. Eternally except 5); and Aladdin to name a few that spring to mind.
As I'm a certified TV addict, this is also hard: Alias; Scrubs; Grey's Anatomy; America's next top model; The Amazing Race; The Simpsons; Red Dwarf; Coupling (the U.K. version); Gilmore Girls; Buffy the Vampire Slayer; Angel; Farscape; Firefly; She Spies; Stargate SG-1; Star Trek: The next generation; Futurama; The Critic; Family Guy; The Venture Brothers; Harvey Birdman, attorney at law; Mythbusters; and The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. But, that's a mind-bogglingly thin list. I could really type all day on this topic.
"Neverwhere" and "American Gods" by Neil Gaiman; The Thursday Next series by Jasper Fforde; The Hitchhiker's series by Douglas Adams; anything by Dave Barry; "Vendetta" and "Imzadi" by Peter David; Harry Potter (especially Prisoner of Azkaban (book 3) but all of them); and many others. I've worked at a book store for four years after all.
