Artist Kaheem Jabar Sharpe also known as KJ,was born in Brooklyn N.Y and raised in Brentwood Long Island. As a child, him and his family attended a baptist church every Sunday where he would sing in the choir his mother directed. Being that soul r&b and hip hop all originated from gospel he grown accustom to not only listening to that kind of music but also acting out as far as singing and rapping. He always kept his dreams of becoming becoming a professional recording artist his, favorite quote is letsmakeit or more so even KJletsmakeit.Kj knew with his goals in mind he would need to prepare himself for his future and establish a plan for people all over to hear his voice and music,singing with his mothers award wining gospel choir in competitions wasn't enough for him he also participated in various talent shows and also placed 4th out of 6 in Brentwood idol. To this day Kj still seeks out shows to perform at, spends a lot of time in recording studio and promotes himself on youtube Myspace and just about any other popular Social Network.
