About Me

i am an english genius. okcupid tells me so:
The Commonly Confused Words Test :

English Genius
(You scored 100% Beginner, 100% Intermediate, 100% Advanced, and 100% Expert!)

You did so extremely well, even I can't find a word to describe your excellence! You have the uncommon intelligence necessary to understand things that most people don't. You have an extensive vocabulary, and you're not afraid to use it properly! Way to go!
we just got a puppy. i'm allergic to his saliva (which he produces in abundance), he farts horrendously and terrorizes the cats, but i understand now exactly what they mean when they say "puppy dog eyes." this dog could maul my whole family and bring me my brother's finger, and i would say "aww."

birds are awesome. i like the average robin more than i like most people, and raptors pwn you.

i actually downloaded the application for the game show "don't forget the lyrics." i think everybody has that game show that they're convinced they would totally rock. this is mine. you have to make a video as part of the application, though. that's way too much effort. it would almost be worth it, though, to get on and lose magnificently and plead "wayne brady, please don't choke a bitch."

my life's goal is to paint this map green:

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Books:

this is a very difficult category for me, because it sorta feels like choosing your favorite friend. they all provide me with something slightly different. right now, i'm totally hot on sci-fi/fantasy (okay, i sorta have been all along). i recently devoured all the existing books in George R.R. Martin's "Song of Ice and Fire" series in, like, a week. Patrick Rothfuss recently put out a GREAT first book called "The Name of the Wind." and i've decided to further develop some latent comic-book geekery. i just picked up all the current "Dark Tower" and the first couple of "Buffy: Season Eight" comics. perennial favorites (yes, i'm a re-reader) include the Lord of the Rings (favorite. book. ever.) and the aforementioned Dark Tower series by Stephen King. i also love David Eddings' "Belgariad" and "Mallorean" series. and i'm a Harry Potter dork. non-fantasy stuff would take me too long. and i won't even try, because i wouldn't be satisfied with less than a complete list, which would require too much space. i'm really stoked that they've made a movie out of "love in the time of cholera," though. i hope it doesn't suck.

Heroes:

had the good sense to hire Kristin Bell from "Veronica Mars" this season.
