About Me

Introducing non-mainstream anything to anyone is no small feat. Doing so in song at clubs, honky-tonks, and parties in the South can be extra challenging. Yet, that is exactly what Bloodshot Eyes has set out doing. In just two years this band, who’s six out of seven members are from Covington, TN, has turned audiences on to music from the early Delta Blues to the new age, Southern Rock underground scenes. Doing so with a thoughtful mix of original material and covers that fit into its organic mold. At times there is a controlled chaos at live shows where experimentation takes over the realm of usually distinctly delivered songs. From night to night the songs may take a form unlike previous performances, and the sets differ each show. The group was founded in December of 2005 on the principle of ever learning and ever evolving. The BSE persona has spread well throughout West Tennessee from the Mississippi River to the Tennessee River, as well as Memphis and north Mississippi.
