About Me

Well the verdict is in! I took a poll from all of you who have seen me at both my best and my worst! Here is how YOU describe ME!
Spicey, persistent, competent, unique, independent, sociable, busy and always on the go, spontaneous, sassy, outgoing, friendly, sweet, funny, charismatic, responsible, talkative, gregarious, ambitious, seductive, cheerful, quick-witted, multi-faceted, easy to talk to, fun-loving, and gorgeous. You also described me as a social butterfly, la femme, the big-breasted woman from miami, a great cook, and as having "an utterly untamed personality that lies in the splendid and imperishable excellence covering all of your offences and outweighing any imperfections to show your beauty of excellence from sincerity and strength." Wow! That last one was a mouthful! Thanks guys, I think you have been way too kind! I think my favorite and probably most accurate response was "absolutely crazy but totally worth it!"
I just spent an incredible year in France where I met some amazing people and saw wonderful places such as Spain, Amsterdam, Corsica, skiing in the Alps and Pyrenees, Germany for Octobrefest, Paris, Rome, Tunisia (northern Africa), and all over the French Riviera where I was in school. One of the most amazing memories was the weekend before my birthday when 12 of us piled in a van and I drove to Milan, Italy for the Fugees concert! I only lost a bumper on the way! It was great seeing my friends and family this summer, too. I got to spend some time in Florida, Chicago, San Diego, and Maui which was great. Now I am studying linguistics at Univ. Cali Riverside. I have an amazing boyfriend, Jake, and a devil cat, Chloe. In the future I would love to volunteer in a french-speaking country in Africa, such as Madagascar, for a few weeks to work with children in need. I also plan on earning my certification in teaching English as a second language so I can work in Japan or China, depending which language is available to learn next quarter. I love new experiences and foreign cultures. I believe my travels are molding me into a well-rounded person who can relate to all types of people. If I see an opportunity I take it; I refuse to look back on my life in regret.

My Interests

I'm really into extreme sports like cliff diving, scuba diving, skiing, and rock climbing and I REALLY want to go sky diving,No limit Texas Hold'em Poker tournaments, Billiards, traveling, Languages, bartending, All things French, shopping, dancing, playing with my crazy cat, internet surfing, the chronic, sunsets, a blockbuster night. Above all I am perfectly content just hanging out- especially with Jake

I'd like to meet:

I love to see old friends from all stages of my life, whether I knew you from Seattle, Mountain Park, Florida, France, or Cali!

Music:

I primarily listen to rap/hip-hop because I love music that I can shake my ass to, but I also enjoy rock, oldies, and pretty much anything but country. Throughout my travels I discovered some great foreign artists as well. Here are some of my faves: Bob Marley, Black Eyed Peas, The Pussycat Dolls, Janis Joplin, Tracy Chapman, Toots and the Maytalls (thanks Tay Tay), LLCoolJ, DMX, Dr. Dre, Snoop, Sade, Ludacris, Aretha Franklin, Eminem, Frank Sinatra, 2Pac, Lil' Kim, Christina Aguilara, Metallica, Tantric, INXS, Carlos Santana, French rappers I AM, Busta Flex, and The Fonky Family, Italian artist Andrea Borcelli, Maroon 5, Jamie Foxx, Arabic singer Nancy, and I love my spanish guitar CD entitled "Azucar"

Movies:

I am a fiend for action, humor, and anything with Robert Dinero, Ben Stiller, or Tom Hanks. Among my favorites are: Thank You for Smoking, Half Baked, Gladiator, Heat, Badder Santa,Saving Private Ryan, Goodfellas, Zoolander, Fun with Dick and Jane, Office Space, Nacho Libre, Forest Gump, Ocean's 11, Sabrina (the old one with Audrey Hepburn), Casino, John Q, The Recruit, Gone with the Wind, Old School, Pretty Woman, and Pulp Fiction

Television:

I don't actually have any T.V., but if I'm at a friend's place I do like these: DOG the Bounty Hunter, the Sopranos, House, The Office, That 70's Show, anything on E! or HGTV, Ali G, and I love South Park

Books:

Right now I really enjoy books about english speakers living in France because I can relate to all the hilarious situations. Two of my favorites are A Year in the Merde and Almost French. I am reading a great book on developing character and finding balance and effectiveness in all areas of life. It is called 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. I also like the historical fiction books by Margaret George such as The Memoirs of Cleopatra, The Autobiography of Henry VIII, and Mary Called Magdalene, even though they are so thick I almost get a hernia lugging it around. Some other favorites are Wicked by Gregory Maguire, In Her Shoes by Jennifer Weiner, The DaVinci Code, and I'm in the midst of the prequel, Angels and Demons. Oh! and I love trashy celeb magazines.

Heroes:

For their character: Mrs. Betty Wills, Mrs. Christie O'Briant, and my mother. For their looks: Carmen Electra, Angelina Jolie, and Victoria Secret model Adriana Lima.
