He might be new to the scene, but he has a lot to offer the music game. His sounds vary from all sorts of urban genres and a blend of different sounds that he grew up listening to.When ask why is he only trying to showcase himself now? He replied, I’ve always been in music, I’ve been ‘DJing’ since a very early age, my parents wanted me to go to university and graduate before I could pursue my career in music, which I did.Already he has some great stuffs under his belt, he has remixed unreleased bootlegged tracks for the likes of Lupe Fiasco (Kick Push), Leela James and Young Gunz (Set It Off) which he submitted to the S. Carter Academy. He is currently remixing the entire Black Album (Jay-z), which should be out on promo by winter 2006.This double disc snippet will give listeners a taste of how versatile and creative DJ Lion can be. Disc 1 features some hard hitting and sizzling hip hop and R&B flavours, whiles disc 2 features some hard hitting sounds that the grime scene has never heard of.Fact file• DJ Lion started DJing at a very early age due to the influence his Uncle who was a radio DJ back at his native home, Sierra Leone.
