My name is Lauren & I was born and raised in SoCal, but truthfully I'm a NorCal girl at heart. I'm a Peace Corps nominee; I'm going to be teaching English in Bulgaria. I start my 3 months of in-country training in April and then after that begins my 2 year service. I graduated from UC Santa Cruz in June 2006 (that's right, I'm a college graduate bitch! haha). I spent a year studying abroad in Germany, which was absolutely amazing. I was able to learn the language and culture, see some amazing sites, go on some crazy adventures and meet some awesome people. Right now I am living in Texas working as a substitute teacher, which is hard but each time I think I get a little better at it (although I just heard that I yell a lot, haha). I LOVE to travel; I literally want to go to everywhere ever and see everything ever and talk to everyone ever to soak up everything I possible can. I guess besides all that I love good beer, good company, good scenery, epic adventures, ridiculousness and anything that's politically incorrect and overly offensive.
