About Me

this is MY COMPANY WEBSITE Bear Track Productions
AND LEGACYDVD.CA
I am BRIAN WAYNE WHITE. I'm a filmmaker. That's me on BASS, with Dungaree Brothers... though I hardly play anymore. Born in Sarnia, Ontario... lived in Nova Scotia 3 times, and in a Cree community in James Bay, Quebec twice in the last seven years. My family and I just relocated to our third city in Ontario, and first in over seven years.
I mostly make underdog stories of musicians who should be famous. I also shoot and edit for others, when the time is right or the money is tight. I had a great editing job that went in spurts over nearly three years on a feature-length doc with Director Errol Williams.
I'm currently in production on several things. My main goal right now is to complete a film I've been working on for over SIX years. I just got a Canada Council For The Arts Grant to help finish it. Here's the trailer.

This will be short. I believe the contestant's name was Havi... I'm going to check it out. I literally walked in the door and my wife was watching "SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE?" Some native guy was aud...

high on Febreze?

Okay, this is a product I've never used. It seems obvious to me. If I can't eat it, why should I shoot tiny liquid particles up my nose? Why should I cover my furniture with it, so it sticks to my clo...

goodbye to a mentor

To say this will be the hardest trip of my life will be an understatement. In the world of film it is hard to spend more than a few days or weeks with any one person. I've spent the better part of the...

why the good ones go

my cousin tony summed it up best today, when he stated that the world has so many nasty people in it, it doesn't seem fair that the truly good human beings are taken away. last night one of my closest...

Obscurity Blues Sneak Peak

I have a few days of hard editing before me.... but here's the scene that pulls me into the story, as scott records "dungaree style". I'm taking it down in a few days, after I polish it in the doc... ...

On a day I was in Sarnia to shoot for "Guerrilla Music In The North" I got some footage of my friend, Jim Chevalier. Here's one of his great tunes from the Almost Floating CD. Yes, that's Mike Stevens...

speaking of singing....

The family and I went down to some local events here in Cambridge this morning. Among the festivities was a children's stage. Mostly there were children's entertainers (an aging population, I might ad...
