PimpingYourSpace.com Rules!Well, I am back out on my own and I love it just as much as the first time, if not more!! Being human is absolutely fabulous, yeah sometimes it's so rough, but I think it's worth it...This past summer has been the most amazing time. Boston, Providence, Parties galore, concerts and driving in Hartford, girls nights till 3 AM when you have to work first thing in the morning, Maine just to name a few. Meeting new people, spending time with one old ones, reconnecting with friends and family in a totally new light. Here are just a few highlights of the best time I've ever had...Things I've Learned This Summer:1)Sleep is overrated. 2)On some level, all men are jerks. But I still love them! 3)Friends are the best part of life. 4)It's okay to be a nerd, just don't look like one. 5)The best part about being single is being able to do whatever you want, whenever you want. 6)Coffee is my best friend. 7)I like stupid movies. 8)Experience is the BEST teacher. You can learn, but you never know until you experience. 9)Don't drink beer before liquor. 10)Fear is life threatening. 11)I love rap!! 12)Bars in Maine close at 1 in the morning. 13)The best part about road trips is music. 14)The next best part about road trips is the drive. 15)Marriage is overrated. 16)Don't cut your own hair. 17)Denny's does taste better after you've been drinking. 18)I love the city. New York, Boston and Providence are my favorites right now. And of course, Paris. 19)It is legal to hit people in lacrosse. 20)Sometimes, people will suprise you. Whether that is good or bad, it all changes. 21)Hips do lie. 22)Work hard, play harder. 23)A little bit of personal space will do wonders. 24)It's okay to be happy where you are, but still want more. In fact, it's a wonderful thing! 25)Connecticut may not be so bad afterall. For the time being, at least... 26)Beer makes you gain weight. 27)Vegetables are good for breakfast. 28)If you're going to throw a party, you will get caught. 29)4 A.M. may be the most peaceful time of day. 30)Dating is not that scary. 31)It's all about balance. 32)Some technology is a good thing. I love being "connected." 33)And the most important thing I've learned to date: It is the journey, not the destination. In fact, I'm beginning to think there is no such thing as a destination...When a girl bumps into your arm
while walking she wants
you to hold her hand. When she wants a hug
she will just stand there. When you break a girls heart,
she still feels it when
you run into each other 3 years later. When a girl is quiet,
millions of things are running through her
mind. When a girl is not arguing,
she is thinking deeply. When a girl looks at you with eyes full of
questions,
she is wondering how long you will be
around.
When a girl answers, "I'm fine, " after a
few seconds,
she is not fine at all. When a girl stares at you,
she is wondering why you are so
wonderful. When a girl lays her head on your chest,
she is wishing for you to be hers forever. When a girl says that she can't live
without you,
she has made up her mind that you are
her future.When a girl says, "I miss you, "
no one in this world can miss you more
than that. When a girl is mean to you after a breakup
she wants you back, but she's
scared she'll get hurt and knows
you're gone forever.THIS IS A TOAST.... 2 US..
FOR THE MEN WHO HAVE US,
THE LOSERS WHO HAD US,
AND THE LUCKY PEOPLE WHO WILL MEET US!!
Someone who doesn't make me cry...but makes everything better when I do anyway...(and if he just so happens to be on MY TOP 10, well, that's even better) I would love to spend a day with Rudy Guiliani or Condoleeza Rice! Pretty much anyone famous, and there are a lot of people I know now who I would just like to spend more time with.
Billy Joel is the most talented musician ever...anything with a groove, and a beat, or just a mellow sound. There is a song for every moment of the day; for every occasion...Pretty much anything. I've gotta admit, though, it's been a while since I've really been into country. Still love it, but it just hasn't been me lately...I'm crazy for a good rap song, they make excellent soundtracks for running. There's something about that beat that actually lets me chill a little. I love remixes and lately I've really loved the acoustic sound. Some of my faves: T.I., Nelly, Sarah McLachlan, Goo Goo Dolls, Dave Matthews, Snoop Dogg, Tim McGraw, Live, Three Dog Night, Billy Joel, UB 40, Norah Jones, Frank Sinatra, DMX, Five for Fighting, Rascall Flats...You get the picture, there's really no rhyme or reason! Did I mention Billy Joel?
Raising Helen, How to Lose a Guy in 10 days, French Kiss, Wedding Singer, Mr and Mrs Smith, A Few Good Men, Chocolat, The Princess Bride, Crash, Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, The Replacements, Gone in 60 Seconds, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Last Samurai, Ocean's 11, Ocean's 12, Bandits, Vanilla Sky (it took some time for me to understand it, but was it worth it), The Interpreter, Just Friends, Old School, Tommy Boy, The Lake House (one of my new fave's) - but I get really confused if I think about it too much
The Office, The Office, The Office...ok and 24 and LOST...not too much else is worth sitting there and doing nothing, but I have been known to love the following: Everybody Loves Raymond, Saved by the Bell, Saturday Night Live, The Daily Show with John Stewart, Avonlea will always be one of my favorites, though...I don't reallly watch too much, but I can't miss the first three on my list
Leadership, by Rudy Giuliani; Freakonomics, Pride and Prejudice, the Chronicles of Narnia, the Wheel of Time series, Romeo and Juliet, anything by John Grisham, To Kill A Mockingbird, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, call me crazy but I love Shakespeare, Pay it Forward
BEN (August 5, 1913 - September 24, 2006) There will never be another one like you...Jack Bauer!!!!!! Steve Carrell, Mark Mathis, definately. I'd love to be crazy like that...I need a hero, and he's gotta strong, and he's gotta be tough, and he's gotta be larger than life....and Cyndi Lauper (girl's just wanna have fun!) Anyone who doesn't quit: I'm learning how tough it is...and it takes a strong person to stick it out where others have walked out...
You Are Samuel Adams
You're fairly easy to please when it comes to beer - as long as it's not too cheap.
You tend to change favorite beers frequently, and you're the type most likely to take a "beers of the world" tour.
When you get drunk, you're fearless. You lose all your inhibitions.
You're just as likely to party with a group of strangers as you are to wake up in a very foreign place.
What's Your Beer Personality?
Your Inner European is French!
Smart and sophisticated.
You have the best of everything - at least, *you* think so.
