don't burn the day... away...

About Me

there's something about being near the water for me... it never fails to make me calm, invigorated and alive. i love music! superb food and good drinks. music puts me in my element, sets my mood, it keeps me sane and clears my thoughts... it has been my solace. i love long drives as long as i'm on the wheel cause i love driving.. i feel euphoric and at the same time it helps me relax as well... i love going to the spa and do the whole nine yards because sometimes it's good to spoil oneself and we deserve to be. i subsconsciously probe people's minds and i always trust my instincts and judgement when meeting people, although sometimes i wish i'm wrong about them. humanity, philosophy and the whole emotional psychobabble has an amazing way of making us laugh and deal with the most mundane of things eventhough we think otherwise. LIFE is very BEAUTIFUL.. it never fails to surprise me, and i Love it! I miss being in St. James every friday night... my faith/spirituality is very personal to me, its one of those things that i wouldnt really discuss on any given day unless i trust you enough. i prize my solitude, but i don't see myself as a loner. i like being by myself but only when i know i can call somebody up and see them. and i'm not really great at meeting people, so i need to be near people i trust. i love watching formula one, tennis, basketball, baseball, soccer, hockey and i certainly get fanatical. i like to talk about politics, worldviews, conspiracy theories and current issues with my closest friends... i am always curious and intrigued by the most powerful, smartest, larger than life, enigmatic people in this world. i spend a great deal of time in reading their bios, profile and their work. i applaud people who know what to do with what they are blessed with. the ones that have genuine concern for people...the ones who are motivated to touch people's lives and emphatize with them. WHAT WE DO IN THIS EARTH RESONATES IN ETERNITY. i've always believed that you don't gain respect but instead earn it. i love my family, i have two brothers who i tremendously miss and i have 51 first cousins (on my mom's side) who are all equally dear to me. i'm crazy about all my nephews and nieces (my cousins' kids). i love my friends so much that i always try my best to be there for them... and i respect them for who they are. i value relationships and most of all the people that i keep in my life.. as far as partner is concern, i value someone who lets me be me and can put up with my idiosyncracies and at the same time someone who's stronger than me who can put me in place when the need arises. most importantly, someone who can factor me in his life...i've loved every minute of my life, and i like it better and better the older i get. don't make me relive it but give me all the years you can at this end.
