About Me

____________________________________________________________
Straight from London Borough of Islington, England, Straps, so named by close friends, after proving his ability to produce deadly killer beats. From disc jockey DJ Terror to DJ STRAPS to a member of the UK Urban group Dead Manz Burial,to being CEO of his own label,Burial Ground Recordings.

Straps has placed his name on the music scene since early 2001. His production has helped the careers many artists. Respected beyond the genres of Garage or UK Grime, Straps, musical influences cross the lines and is also respected for producing 'Club Banging', 'Head Bopping', Hip Hop and R&B tracks.

'Burial Ground Riddim'- Produced By Straps...introduced a rhythmic style of snare beats that defined the Unique sound of Grime music during the 2004 period. The track later went on to be one of Straps most successfull beat in his career so far as quite alot of Mc's was soon heard to be recording different freestyle over the hard banging, Bassy and Melow beat.

The track also took another Step ahead when one of Uk's and E3's most talented young producer, Maniac decided he was going to remix the track for the second time - Burial Ground III - Maniac Remix - after being originaly remixed by Straps and featured, Ashdot, Avalanche, Double S and Black The Ripper which was another hit from the talented young producer from North-London. The track was later called " The Burial Ground II " - featured on Ashdot Mixtape.

Along the way Straps has had many hit single from different artist from up and down the country and has featured on numurous mixtapes.

In 2005 Straps decided to 'step up his game' by crossing over later found that he has got exactly what it takes to produce a variety of Hip Hop/R&B Tracks. From your 'Club Banging' Swiss Beatz, Timbaland, Ryan Leslie, Kanye West, Dj Premier, Alchemist,Pete Rock & RZA beats with choped up high pitched voice samples going troughout the track to your Mannie Fresh trap Beats and to your Dr Dre, Scott Storch and Chad Beatz 'Gangsta Rap' beats. As you can see, Straps has had quite a lot of influence growing up.

As being your Neighbourhood Superstar, Straps has 3 tips for everyone, either if you're a Producer, Artist, Song-writter etc..."You need to be patient with whatever you are doing, Patient is a virtue", " Know your target audience and who your project is aimed at and most importantly, You can accomplish anything you put your mind to if you stay focus"
