Ten Feet From Murder started off as a project band, combining members of another band and individual musicians. The final production is something YOU MUST witness LIVE. The sound is an assortment of musical genres which include: Hardcore, Death Metal, Traditional Metal and Raw Power.The singer comes from a Hardcore background and an upbringing in the New York City Hardcore scene of the 80's. The understudy of Mike "Judge" Ferraro, Ed was the frontman for the NJHC band REACT of the 80's and vocalist for the NY/NJ Hardcore band RDX.
Influences and friends include Death Before Dishonor(the original NYC band), Youth Of Today, Judge, Biohazard, Underdog, Warzone, Supertouch, Hogans Heroes, Candiria, Mudvayne, Walls of Jericho, Lamb of God and many others.The lead guitarist Lon Cerame, is an 18 year veteran of Metal with such influences as Testament, King Diamond, Pantera, Shadow's Fall, Lamb of God, In Flames, and Killswitch Engage. After a 10 year hiatus from playing the guitar, Lon was convinced to get back into the scene. Lon didn't lose a fret from playing in his last band Neurotoxin nearly 11 years ago. Lon picked up where he left off and continues to be the dominant force at Lead and Rhythm Guitar as the main composer for Ten Feet From Murder.WE ARE LOOKING FOR A DRUMMER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Hailing from Medellin, Colombia with influences like Steve Harris, Ron Royce and Frank Bello, Juan Arbelaez mans the Bass for Ten Feet From Murder. A student of The American Institute of Music in NYC, Juan has been playing Bass for about 15 years and has played in several Metal bands from Queens and Long Island NY. Juan's current band influences include Scar Symmetry, Soilwork, Testament, Dark Tranquility, Children of Bodom, Arch Enemy and many others. Juan's style of play adds the much needed depth Ten Feet From Murder was looking for.
