About Me

Right now, things are crazy. We are building a beautiful new house on 3 acres, I am starting a 3K and 4K half-day preschool, Adam started a new job, and Phillip is starting Kindergarten in August. Like I said, crazy!! Lots of new beginnings...thus is life.But the constants in my life are my precious boys, Phillip (5 1/2) and Bradey (3 1/2) and my incredible husband, Adam. God knew what He was doing when he brought these guys into my life. Adam is SUCH a good father and husband, and he makes me laugh. He is definitely my best friend. And Phillip is the most thoughtful, obedient, caring, and BRILLIANT child. Bradey is a little ball of sunshine, and his smile lights up a room. He has an incredible imagination and can sit and play for hours by himself, making up stories with his toys. I am truly a blessed woman.

My Interests

I LOVE to read. I like working out when my knees don't give me problems (Dang that rowing in college!!). I love naps with my kids, watching college football, and watching Phillip play sports. ..

I'd like to meet:

Anyone that loves to laugh, has a witty sense of humor, and can put up with 2 kids tagging along all the time. I am always hoping to meet anyone that loves God and doesn't mind playdates at the park or the library or McDonalds (I find myself at those places a lot!).

Music:

I like alot of different music, but I love Queen, Aerosmith, Enya, anything that I can workout to, and musicals (Les Mis is the greatest!!). Very diverse, I know. ..

Movies:

I have a weird sense of humor, and I tend to find that people who can quote lines from "The History of the World", "Billy Madison", and "Austin Powers" usually turn out to be right up my alley. I also action and drama, but I HATE scary movies!! ..

Television:

I love paranormal stuff, so I am really into "Ghost Hunters" and "Paranormal State". I also love reality shows like "Deadliest Catch".

Books:

I LOVE to read. It is probably my favorite thing to do. My favorite books are typically European historical fiction. I enjoy reading about the wives of Henry VIII for some reason. I love the works of Karleen Koen, Kathryn Lynn Davis, Anya Seton, Philippa Gregory, Marek Halter, Antonia Fraser, and so many more. I also LOVE the Harry Potter series. I have probably read the entire thing about 30 times. ..

Heroes:

I admire anyone that gives of themselves to better the world without any desire for recognition or praise. I admire people who know that they aren't better than anyone, but are good enough for anybody. ..
