E.A.L. is a sound recording experiment designed to stimulate various moods of the human psychology. In short, I took a Fender Rhodes keyboard and painted futuristic pictures with its tones. My inspiration for the music stems from fascinations with nature and science. The idea was to create nerve mending soundscapes that would teleport my mind to a zone isolated from stress and anxiety. Within this virtual coma, imagination takes over and anyone listening can begin traveling through space. I guess I like to think of E.A.L. as an audio portal device. Though much like abstract art, its purpose, function, and meaning, are open for interpretation.
