I am a painter and a printmaker working primarily in oils, intaglio, and woodcut. Originally from St. Louis, I moved to Rhode Island for Grad School where I just finished my MFA in Printmaking at Rhode Island School of Design. In June I moved to Philly and I'm working for two local commercial artists while continuing my own studio practice. I am exhibiting with Cade Tompkins Editions (www.cadetompkins.com) at the Editions/Artists' Book Fair in Chelsea this weekend (www.eabfair.com). She will continue to represent my work to print curators and at other venues around the country, so you can check her website for details in the future.
Breaking News: The Whitney recently acquired my piece "A Day in November: Impending Loss" for its permanent collection.
Other works from that series will be on view through the summer in the following exhibitions:
The Print Center: 1614 Latimer Street, Philadelphia, PA 81st Annual International Competition: Printmaking Juror: Shelley Langdale, Associate Curator of Prints and Drawings, Philadelphia Museum of Art May 17 – July 28, 2007

I am working on becoming involved with the Philly scene now that I'm more settled after my move, and am hoping to meet more local artists, artisans, writers, and musicians. I will update this section soon.
