About Me

.......UPDATE 6/09: Spinecast is on hold due to the fact that the members are spread over 3 states. There is a new band with Spinecast members called Kings Of The Killing Field, this is where we have been focusing our musical energy. We just released our debut CD "Predatory Instinct", it is chaotic, abrasive, brutal sickness! Technically precise, well-written, 8-string guitars, shredding, throat-ripping screams, slamming bass, and ass kicking drums. Matched with a perfect production and awesome full color layout you got a killer package. Go to the myspace page now and check it out, but be cautious because this music will make you homocidal. myspace.com/kotkf Right now we are running a special of a CD with a free sticker and free shipping for $10 paypal or M/O. This CD is going to leave a mark in metal permanently so order a copy you fuck..Ever since they first stormed the death metal scene in the early half of 1998, Alabama death metal masters Spinecast, have continued to pummel the underground with a mind-blowing sonic assault. This band has only become more brutal over the years as each new release demonstrates a variety of matured technical styling and in your face ferocity. In a time when the stakes for achieving intensity in death metal are constantly being raised Spinecast continues to maintain their status as a high caliber contender for the respect of thier fans.--------------------- Aside from studio work Spinecast has always proven themselves on the live front. Headlining an array of shows in their hometown as well as in cities throughout many different states they have displayed themselves as a tight live force to behold. Their performances earned them the most coveted slots opening for the greatest bands in death metal. They are no strangers to the festival scene either, having taken part in a variety of large multi-band shows.--------------------Initially Spinecast came into play with the release of their first breakthrough demo entitled "Nightmares of Depravity". This 3-song effort was enough to gain them worldwide acceptance from true fans of underground death metal. It set a base for them to build upon by receiving rave reviews from widely circulated underground fanzines of the time. Many interviews were completed on behalf of this demo and news was spread quickly to those seeking something fresh, new, and brutal.-------------------- In the fall of 1999 they released their debut full length "Disease of Worthlessness" which obtained them ten-fold the recognition as their previous demo had. This album featured more in depth song writing and increased technical proficiency on their instruments and engineering, as well as cover art and inlay done by well-known musician and graphic designer, Chris Pervelis from Internal Bleeding.-------------------- The last release “Go Forth And Mutilate” released by Crash Music 2002, was recorded once again at Soundworks studio in Decatur, AL and engineered by reputable producer Dave Pittman (Fleshtized, Blood Stained Dusk, Convergence From Within) and features cover art by well-known artist Zig also known for his work with Deeds of Flesh and many others. This album is was more involved in terms of speed, technicality, creative riffing, and arrangements. The disc is a multi-layered attack of heavy, technical, punishing, and blood curdling extreme death metal.-------------------- The new 2007 promo featuring new drummer Gary White of Fleshtized will cement Spinecast's legacy as one of the Southeast's most elite metal acts, and is sure to leave long-time fans satisfied and begging for more, which WILL follow...................................................... ................I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4
