Nyerere knows music like the back of his hand. From coming to creative & innovative song concepts to writing a catchy, infectious hook, Nyerere is definitely more than than a a GREAT songwriter but he hs proven to be a DYNAMIC vocalist.
With dreams of becoming a solo artist on hold, Nyerere plans to penetrate music through his pen, thoughts, pad and concepts FIRST.
Born in Milwaukee, WI, Nyerere express many hardships and true life experiences through his pen & pad. As a 2008 graduate of Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, FL, Nyerere shared and touched many lives through song.
When he decided to step into the realm of music, he got the chance to perform at BET's first-ever Blaze The Stage competition (December 2006) in New York City. At the show, he knabbed the first-place spot for "Best Song." In 2007, his music caught the ears of MTV, when he was offered a VIP Audition spot (January 2007) on MTV's MySpace competition for Making the Band 4.
