Hi, and welcome to my page. It is difficult to put into words the many facets of my personality but I will try my best to give you a little insight as to who I am and what makes me happy.
I enjoy the simple things that bring a smile to a persons face. I am optimistic and love to laugh and make other people happy. Fiercely loyal to those I love and most of my friends say that I am very much a "nurturer". I believe in Karma and that when you do good things and give selflessly, the universe notices and good things come back to you one hundred fold.I believe in second chances! Sometimes, when you least expect it, someone or something happens in your life that makes you think that all the "crap" you have been through...was worth it!I always thought that when I reached my 40's I would have life all figured out. How wrong I was!!! I am loving this time in my life. I have some really amazing friends who teach me things every day. I have learned more about myself and life in the past few years than I ever dreamed possible. I am so excited about this time in my life. Time to learn new things, explore what makes me happy and be open to all of life's new adventures!
I recently started a new job that I absolutely adore! I am finally out of retail management and have a great work schedule. I am an area manager for a recycling company and oversee 16 recycling sites. Everyday is challenging but I love the freedom and the flexibility of my schedule now. I love knowing that I am working for a company that is helping to make a difference in the environment. We all need to do everything that we can to recycle, resuse and reduce our garbage! Go green!!! :)
I have two sons, one is 22 and one is 16. They are the greatest joys of my life. They are both amazing young men and I love spending time just hanging out with them and hearing about their views on life and the world. Although I love them very much and adore the time I have with them, I am looking forward to the time when they are on their own and living their lives so that I can have the freedom to travel, take some classes that I have been wanting to take, and perhaps move out of Sacramento.Things that make me smile..... freshly mowed grass, the ocean, the smell of fresh baked cookies...Springtime..watching a father play with his children, butterflies, unexpected kisses, finding a quiet place along a river to sit and just listen to the water, finding secret momentos inside old books, phone calls or visits from old friends, holding hands, bubble baths, Melissa's laugh, sunday morning breakfast, my favorite song on the radio, puppys and kittens, a full moon, secret hiding places, seeing old couples holding hands,the airport, someone playing with my hair, babies feet, finding money in the laundry, riding on the back of my friend Johns Harley, fireflys, towels right out of the dryer, fresh sheets on the bed. Listening to the rain outside, being in the company of people that I can just be myself with and be silly and laugh till our sides ache. Warm socks, balloons, blowing bubbles, reading a book to a child, art, lazy days spent watching a good movie or reading a good book.
Things I dont like.......people who manipulate others, crickets and grasshoppers, Ketcup on my burgers, people who lie, cheat use people for their own gain, putting gas in my car, sushi, peas, clowns, ventriloquist dummies, putting puzzles together.
