About Me

Hmmm...what to say. Nothing very interesting to say right now except that I had a baby girl named Ziah born on February 3. She is now two months and growing soooo quickly. Kids are so much fun but they are sure a lot of work. I moved from small town Baker City, Oregon in 1997 to Lakeland, Florida. I have been stuck here ever since and have even bought a house. It's old but it's mine. I am wanting to move again maybe back west or to North Carolina. Who knows what the future holds??? I have to get Ziah out of Florida before she starts school because they have NO recess and that is just crazy, kids need recess, especially my child if she is anything like me I'm got my masters in social work and have been working as a social worker at a hospital. I work with the mentally ill and wow is everyday a challenge. There are some very interesting people in the world to say the least. I have a dog (who really isn't mine) but somehow I got stuck with him. His name is Ja'man. I also have two cats named Dread and Jersey. But now that I have started letting them outside they don't come home very much. Oh well. I want to continue to experience life to the fullest and get out of the ruts I've put myself in. Somehow I'm so good at finding myself where I don't want to be, but such is life.

My Interests

Playing with my baby. Buying books to sell, what a weird way to make money, but slightly addicting. Swimming, running, mountain biking, though I'm currently really out of shape having a baby and all. Listening to music. Hanging out. Taking naps, I'm a little sleep deprived right now, but sometimes it's funny.

I'd like to meet:

Jesus one day!!

Music:

Anything! I love music and constantly listen to it.

Movies:

I haven't seen a movie for awhile. The last movie I went to sucked and I saw it 9 months pregnant and was not happy. Women who are 9 months pregnant should get to pick which movie they want to see!!!

Television:

I LOVE Gray's Anatomy and House! I also like Prison Break, 24, and Desperate Housewives. I don't have cable so my choices can be limited.

Books:

I don't read books very often. I can't remember the last time I read a book. I do love to glance through books though and read a chapter here and there. This is probably do to the short attention span.

Heroes:

My mom. She has stood by me through thick and thin. She has been there when I needed her and loved me no matter how bad I was.
