About Me

I may be more corny than nuts.

My Interests

Getting ice cream for my roommate, Ben, so he can be lazy on the couch and eat it all day. Running around New York in general. Trying to get it together, then keeping things that way. Laughter. Comedy. Comedy as an art form. Art forms as art forms. Forming art. People who form art. Taking epic bike rides around New York City. Lazy Sundays, brunch with friends, craft night, etc.

I'd like to meet:

Pots and pans robots, people from the 5th dimension, spacemen, knitters, fashionistas, pet-owners, and all-around cutie-pies.

Movies:

Karate Dog

Television:

Arrested Developement, Strangers with Candy, The Office(British), Home Movies, Da Ali G. Show, any PBS documentry, Family Guy.

Books:

Please feel free to lend me books on wide ranging subjects, MySpace friends! Favorites so far include: biographies: Vanilla Ice biography, Janet Dickenson's biography (world's first supermodel), and Linda Lovelace's biography (pornstar from DeepThroat fame). Other favorites are: Into the Heart, about an anthropologist who lived with the Yanomama Indians in the Braziian Jungle, Cunt (touted as a feminst manifesto!), and The Good Life, about Helen and Scott Nearing, pioneers of the back to the land movement. Some treasures from the fiction category are: The Historian (historians on a quest to find Dracula's grave!), The DaVinci Code (duh, a classic), and Sue Grafton novels (murder mysteries, O for Outlaw was an especially good read!).

Heroes:

Borat, The Abominable Snowman, Ninja Turtles, Helen and Scott Nearing (see books), Tommy the Clown, Bigfoot, and those brave men who are currently searching for big-foot in Malaysia (best of luck).
