I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I moved to Valencia, Espana two years ago to teach English and got stuck. Well, I didn't really move here to teach but more to see Spain and travel for a while, ESL being the easiest way to support myself while doing that. Now I can't leave cause this is where all my stuff is and I don't have enough bags to bring it back in.Really not much different than any other 25 year old American illegal immigrant in Spain...Recently I bought another bag or two and managed to get all my stuff onto a transatlantic flight back to DC. So I've said hasta luego to Spain and I'm back in oohsa (USA) as they say en espanol.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Brett Favre and Jack Bauer...pretty much the same thing because if Jack Bauer were real he would be Brett Favre.

My Blog

The Grandview Chronicles: The Ghillie Suit

A Ghillie suit is not something that one would normally employ for everyday use when running a nursery and to be fair it wasn't used every day, only once in fact. That's not to say that if the matter...

Big Scott

Big Scott is a guy I used to work with at the Gillenwater's landscaping gig in Charlottesville. The nickname's not ironic. He's the kinda guy who would touch both sides of the doorway at 7-11 but not ...

United We Stand

United we stand ...In line, forever. I have stared into the abyss my friends. I have looked into the eyes of the beast and witnessed the nadir of logic. The number of the beast is gate 40-88. That ab...

Soccerball Post!!

I hate Chelsea. I do! At least I think I do. Because when I looked up at the scoreboard at Mestalla during last night's Valencia/Shaktar game (which we won 2-0! Villa! Villa!) and saw that Chelsea was...

Valencian Goings on...and I'm broke.

I've had a goal this month of not spending a dime, which works pretty well seeing as how I only handle European currency. I decided that I needed to just stop going out and to make an effort in the gr...
