About Me

Delta blues meets Memphis soul meets Tupelo rock 'n' roll to create an original hard rockin' blues band that is going to kick Memphis and the surrounding areas in the teeth!
Contact the band at [email protected] or call
Kevin at (662) 891-2170.
Kevin Waide's Bio
Kevin has been playing guitar for over 25 years and is only 34, so you do the math. Born and bred in Tupelo, MS, and currently residing in the Memphis, TN area, he definitely knows music and has grown to appreciate many different styles. From the Mississippi Delta Blues to Motown to Southern Gospel, Kevin has played it all, and played with some of the best unknown musicians in the area. Read More
Randy Byrum's Bio
Randy has been playing bass for 25 years, although he's not quite as young as Kevin! Memphis born and raised, he's played with many of the local greats including Josey Scott, Chip Thomas, Michael and Jimmy Enright, Rusty McFarland to mention a few.
He's performed at all the clubs on Beale and the rock mainstays like: The Stage Stop, The Music Hall, The High Cotton, etc.
He has joined in as a studio musician conducting sessions at Kiva recording studios (now the House of Blues), Ardent, Sounds of Memphis, Crosstown Recorders, the university of Memphis and even the old BarKays studio in Memphis. One Question: What do you call a Bass Player that uses a pick? A P*&sy!
Chip Thomas' Bio
Chip has played with so many great musicians it would fill the page to list them all. Most famous as the drummer of the original "Creed", he's played with other great bands such as Fire Choir (which included John Roth of Winger), Pat Taylor, Suzanne Jerome-Taylor and Drama, and the Suspicions. He's been a session drummer in studios all over the country. He's known all over the southeast for his heavy foot, perfect meter and driving beats! But now he's laying down the beat hard and heavy for Sugar Ditch. Look out folks, this is sure to be a ride!
