Vehicular Manslaughter is a band that is not for the timid of heart. With vocals equal to that of a body exiting through a windshield, and sounds that match a robot's sex life, this CD is cringe inducing (and I mean that in a good way). Vehicular Manslaughter combines the atmospheric feel of typical ambience, and mashes it violently into the world of grindcore. Stylistically, the sound is obviously influenced by acts like Mr. Bungle, Fantomas, and other such Mike Patton-esque bands. yet, the end product is very rich, original sounding material. It's a relief to hear someone doing grindcore right, in opposition to this new wave of emo fans attempting to just write their music as obnoxious as possible, without putting any intelligence behind it.
