br Let me take this oppertunity to tell everyone about my personal experiences with Iain. I first met him at Mac hall show. He had long hair and he was wearing a t-shirt with the sleeves cut off. After that we talked to each other a bit and saw each other around. Then last year i went to his birthday party at Perkins. There was only a few people there, as most kids went downtown to see bumblebee. It was at perkins that Iain showed me some throwdown moves he was working on. Although he was un-coordinated and young, i could see the fire in his eyes. Shortly after that he was given a spot on 403 fight crew, Calgary's most deadly crew at the time. Upon joining fight crew i gave Iain the name Iain holmes, a name wich he still uses to this day. Over the next few months, Iain worked hard perfecting his skill and technique. He eventually became one of the hottest dancers in the group and rose to a senior position. At the start of summer 2004, Iain left fight crew to persue a solo career. Fight crew is dead now but, due in part to the raw ability of Iain holmes, it will always hold it's place in 403 history.
The scene has obviously changed faces alot since then with all the hype of the ninja crew, the flash and razzmatazz of the slut crew and the in your face violent antics of the cutlass crew. However Iain holmes still manages to capture the true essence of hXc. This isnt about oldskool or newskool, this is the truskool.
