I am a middle-aged farmer who lives with my wife and our cousin, Mattie. I live in a small farm in a town called Starkfield. The winters are especially snowy, with great sledding hills, and the summers are comfortably warm. I am a hard worker with good morals, and a strong sense of responsibility. I have a cat, a few chickens, and a sleigh horse; all very healthy animals. The village of Starkfield itself is a quiet place, with a small church, a few shops, and plenty of hills and wildlife. The villagers are friendly and respectable, and I am happy with the town I live in. My wife is a curt, hardsey woman, who suffers from complications. My cousin, Mattie, is a lively, young individual with plenty of spirit and no hand at housekeeping. I spend almost all of my time in the company of one or the other, and it can get very restless.
