Every day a little death.

About Me

The Noumenal Moon (my philosophy blog): here .

Ah, my name is Andy. I was a philosophy PhD student at Temple until I met Chuck Dyke and learned that (most) philosophy is a huge scam. Now I want to study Bourdieu and complexity theory. However, at the moment, I am freelance writing and concentrating on Wrestling Team, my comedy duo. I used to adjunct teach and then I moved to New York, and now I spend most of my time looking for jobs.

At the moment, I have a number of projects I am embroiled in. A number of them are Wrestling Team related, such as editing the third episode. A week or two ago, I finished recording an album as qctqpus entitled The Solar Agent; I made a page for it here . Now I have to do all the boring stuff like EQing, etc.
I'm trying to read a lot and watch lots of films. I am trying to learn how to skateboard and how to play clarinet. I'm trying to learn French but I am being lazy about it.

My Interests

basketball, DDR, non-shitty philosophy, my cats, comedy, 'pataphysics, somewhat far left politics, experimental literature, sitcoms, hourlong dramas with good characters, comics, hanging myself (for death, not sexual pleasure), sketch comedy, frag, The Gramb, meta-irony, grifting

I'd like to meet:

Anyone that would like to play scrabble or basketball. People who would like to make art like films or other things, but mostly films. People into interesting art. Someone who can help me find an interesting job.
Anyone that might stumble across this profile that wants to write a review for Ecriture...I am compiling issue three now. What? Myspace is for kids 5-10 years younger than myself to hook up with each other? And not for some douchebag who wants to find people to write for some shitty zine he does? Fair enough.
