Pastor Arthur D. Smith, Founder and Pastor of the Vision 4 Life Ministries of Atlanta Georgia, steps forward as one of the emerging prophetic voices of the 21st century. Called at an early age, Pastor Arthur D. Smith accepted the call of God on his life and since that time has proven to be a capable minister of the Gospel of Christ. His passion for God and God’s people allows him to truly minister empowerment and excellence to every believer. This focus, coupled with a spirit of compassion allows Pastor Smith witness to the nation and the nations. Native of Chicago, Illinois, Pastor Arthur D. Smith is the youngest of the three children born to Arthur S. Smith and Evangelist Lillie Smith. At an early age Pastor Smith exhibited a natural love and gifting for music ministry. It was this gift that was cultivated at the Historic Kendrick Memorial Missionary Baptist Church on the South Side of Chicago, under the Pastorate of the late Rev. A. D. Spriggs. By the age of 10 Pastor Smith was playing drums and directing the youth choir, all while serving as a youth Sunday school teacher. As a gifted musician, Pastor Smith has served as Minister of Music for local churches in the Chicagoland Metropolitan area. Through the vehicle of music, he has also served in ministry with some of today’s stellar gospel artists, in the likes of Pastor Clay Evans, the Reverend Timothy Wright and the Interdenominational Choir and The Barrett Sisters to name a few.Pastor Smith knew that God would use him in a mighty way. In 1981, at the age 8 years old, his Grandmother affectionately known as" Mother Cook" said you are going to be a preacher. Accepting the call in 1997, Pastor Arthur Smith began to search out the mandate of the Lord to empower the world with love and truth that focused on youths and family. He served as a youth minister while continuing to fulfill his passion by serving as a musician at local churches in the Chicagoland area. Upon his relocation to the Atlanta, Georgia in March 2000, Pastor Smith began serving in different capacities within the local church. From Minister of Music to Executive Pastor, Pastor Arthur D. Smith has served the Lord's church with consistency and fervor; passionately searching to know the heart of God; ever asking, “How can I serve you Lord?” It was this passion for the things of God and the people of God that led to the inception of Vision INCC (In Christ Care). Pastor Smith began this program where he served as founder and CEO to provide counseling and crisis intervention for youths as well as providing guidance for adults in order that they too would have the opportunity to realize and live out to their fullest potential. Serving with a spirit of excellence Pastor Arthur D. Smith is an exciting and dynamic orator who has the unique ability to bring the Gospel to life causing it to be applicable to everyday living. This charismatic evangelist is best known for his provoking and encouraging message that causes him to build bridges and connect the people of God across cultural and generational lines in order to meet his God-given assignment of causing men and women everywhere to see their Vision 4 Life. Called Preacher; Anointed Pastor; Accomplished Musician all describes Pastor Arthur D. Smith. However, he experiences his greatest joy in being the Husband of Elect Lady Renee M. Smith. Together they live out the benefit of godly covenant and family being the proud parents of Master Malachi T. Smith and Prince Aaron M. Smith.
