About Me

Clair and Hannah met at Otley Youth Theatre (OY!) in 2002 and discovered that they were both really into folk and acoustic music, and that they both had a deep dark past of morris dancing (although since then they have both seen the errors of their ways... only joking!) each playing for a local (rival) morris side.
The band got together in 2004 when Hannah and Clair (playing local gigs at the time as a folk/acoustic duo) decided to branch out a bit and recruited Hannah's brother Chris to hit things with sticks (he called it drumming) and guitarist Luke Raynor.
Since forming Entropy have played Otley Folk Festival, the very first annual Masham Black Sheep Music Festival, the Hardraw Gathering, and a host of local gigs. Their first CD, the e.p., was recorded and produced in 2005.
