Also the name Priest is highly associated with Ron ONeals role in the movie Superfly. Pepone is Swahili for paradise and its broken down into a pair-of-dice as in a gambler as in LCasino. Priests heritage is Black Irish and his ancestral bloodline derives from African, Creole, and Choctaw damu. Although originally from The Bayou, his family migrated West in the eighties, and it was then that he rolled into The Desert. Priest Pepone was raised in North Las Vegas, and is the co-founder of Lava M. Ent. Growing up in Emerald Estates (a slum near the intersection of Cheyenne Ave and Civic Center Dr.) he became gang-related as a youth. His mother also came from a broken home, and she conceived Priest at the tender age of fifth teen; it was difficult raising children alone, while she was struggling to raise herself, but she worked hard in order to provide for her sons. Priest was into rap but he wasnt interested in pursuing a rap career; yet at the age of sixteen, writing became of more significance, similar to Eldridge Cleaver. Writing started out as a form of anger management, becoming therapeutic, transpiring to poetry, hip hop and other forms of writing. Priest added this "LCasino is my new born, the theme stems first from The City itself, and the other portion is a corporation, said Priest. In Vegas the Casinos generate economy, yet the contrast is addiction, violence, greed, corruption, and etc. Steve Wynn once stated The Strip is the most violent business in the country twenty four seven. Benjamin Siegel changed the face of Vegas when he concocted The Flamingo with the proper backing. In a nutshell Las Vegas has a very distinct purple and crimson history. Casinos revolve around gambling twenty four seven three sixty five and the same can be said about the streets beneath the neon. Several Casinos in Vegas borrow themes from random places for example, The Luxor (Africa), NY NY, The Venetian (Italy), The Paris (France), New Orleans, Monte Carlo (Monaco), and etc. I couldnt get the beats I wanted or ones that complimented what I was delivering, so I just applied mines to theirs. Im not stealing credit, Im merely borrowing, just like the majority who just come here to Vegas to play, and neglect us while we struggle, now thats criminal, its funny how nah never mind playboy, said Priest with a giggle. Selah, now I just wanted to assemble a righteous project, a good representation of where Im from and of the City as a whole. We have issues to address, pain to reflect, and skrill to collect. The Casinos as a collective accumulated a Billion and plus at times in one month, and to add insult to injury 80% of Nevada belongs to the Government. Im just attempting to cut my piece and eat the American Pie, while building a solid foundation for the future. Shit Meyer Lansky died in his nineties and was worth over 400 million dollars, Joe Bonnano died when he was ninety seven, and Moe Dalitz died when he was in his nineties: All these men were mob-related and organized, so whats the difference between LCasino and 1MOBILARE.
