Scendence (NOW SEEKING ADDITIONAL VOCALISTS!)

About Me

For booking and other info, contact us at [email protected]
Consistently ranking within the top ten New Mexico myspace artists, Scendence is one of Albuquerque's leading musical acts. Using unique compositional style, melodic orchestrations are blended with the heavier sounds of Albuquerque's abundant rock/metal scene. A Combination of soaring vocals over crushing guitars and pounding drums give Scendence a distinct musical flavor.
In addition to original works, Scendence also performs an arsenal of cover material featuring music of well-known acts including Rush, 3 Doors Down, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, and even video game themes such as music from the popular Halo series. This versatility has allowed Scendence to participate in a variety of events and venues such as the 2008 New Mexico State Fair and various UNM-sponsored events including the 2008 Rockin' For Wishes benefit concert. Currently, Scendence is hard at work on their first full-length studio album.

First update of 2009

Progress continues (slowly) as we work on our debut album. The album is planned to feature eleven tracks - one of which will be a no-holds-barred 12-minute piece filled with crushing riffs, epic orchestral arrangements, melodic vocals, blazing solos, haunting choirs and other good stuff.

September 2006 Update...

So what's been going on? Quite a bit, actually. I've started my college education, so that's occupying quite a bit of my time (I'm still giving 100% of my free time up to music), so that's slowed pro...

New Song (again...)!

It's tentatively titled "Waltz" at the moment (cause that's what it is), it's instrumental, and pretty catchy ;) Hopefully, we'll soon have extra keyboards for it (strings), violins, and bass recorded...

So, what's been going on?

Music sure is fun. I haven't recorded as much stuff as perhaps I should have, but I do put in a lot of effort between reruns of "The Colbert Report" and much progress has been made. I'm currently...

New stuff IS coming...

Although we are currently in a bit of a bottleneck in terms of progress, things are moving along. We recorded one of our improv jams with our new, amazing drummer, Andy, and he's been busy mixing the ...

Added Blues Improv Solo!

Well, I really started to hate the song "Broken Tiles" so I decided to take it off. I needed to fill the void with something, so I perused my recordings folder where I record myself over BTs to a...

First, big thanks go out to Mr. Guillaume Ninon all the way from France, who is kind enough to undertake the task of making proper tracks out of the MIDIs I program. He will provide me tracks for the ...
