About Me

I'm the best!! Just kidding, but maybe deep down I do feel like this. I find it hard to sit here and type about myself, so I won't say too much. I'm finishing up my last year of law school, therefore my head is filled with legal mumbo jumbo. I'm trying to finish school, look for a job and still kick it during my last year. The real world scares me, because I really don't want to grow up. If I could, I would re-do all my college years and stay an extra year. I love to shop, go out to eat and drink coffee(those of you who know me know, I aint never lied, ie see new pic). When I grow up I guess I'll be a lawyer for a couple of years and then totally switch careers. My long term goals are to pay off all my debt, have a nice house, and then shop till I drop without having the guilty feeling of spending my rent/electric bill money on a cute pair of shoes. I am a junk food junkie and will probably have no teeth by the time I'm 50, but I just can't resist candy and soda. Last but not least, some would call me boy crazy, but I say boys and men just seem to end up crazy about me. Most of my friends will agree with me, most men tend to fall in love very easily, I'm cool though so, it doesn't make my head big or anything. My Interests

Shopping Drinking "coffee" every day, me and my best friend Shelly used to "drink" every day before class our senior year of college and I swear that is the reason why I did so well that semester. Talking on the phone, especially since I'm all the way out in Arkansas now and no one ever wants to come visit out here. Shopping, oh did I say that already?????????? Kicking it with my homies. Playing on facebook, and now myspace.

That is the one thing I hate about being so far from home, the inablility to go to the go-go, becuase honestly the club sucks. I mean, I pick the go-go over any other night time activity. As far as favorite bands go, I would have to take it back to old school junkyard being one of my favorites. However, not the new JY or whatever they are called. Fairly recently, I was a huge LISSEN fan, but ever since the break up, I have not been too pressed for either one of them. They really need to get back together, because nothing beats the old Cadavez days on Friday nights. "Back in the days when things were cool!!"

Books:

My new favorite book is eleven minutes. I just finished it and it was the bomb!! Thanx Peace Peace aka David. I pretty much like anything by Bernice McFadden, I read her latest one Nowhere is a place and loved it. Wild Embers by Anita Bunkley and Mirrored Life. I'm a huge Omar Tyree fan. I mean, I think I was one of his very first fans back in 1994 when I first read Fly Girl. I also like his Capital City, which is out of print I think, but is also so good. I love to read so I could go on and on, but I think that's enough for now.

Heroes:

Assata Shakur. Dean Cynthia Nance, the current dean of my law school, she is the first women Dean at the Law school and is a strong, black woman. She's doin the damn thing!!
