Well, I'm 23 and I live in Florida with my fiancee Shawn. I was born and raised in Tn. I moved to Florida to stay with my parents to get away from an abusive relationship. I didn't want to leave, Tn is the only home I've ever known, my family and friends are there but I had to leave. I'm glad I moved down here because if I was still in Tn I wouldn't have met Shawn and he's the best thing that's ever happened to me. I was very happy when I moved down here, I was finally free. I cut and dyed my hair, pierced my belly-button and got a tattoo. These are all things that for almost three years I wasn't allowed to do. You really don't respect your freedom until you literally have none. It's really nice to be with someone who loves me the way I am and doesn't try to control me or change anything about me. Now almost three years later, I'm still happy, maybe a little homesick every now and then, but happy, healthy, and safe.
