***Version Française***Au tout début, en 1998, l'esprit punk a poussé quatre jeunes gaillards à se réunir dans un sous-sol afin de découvrir le monde de la musique. Avec Patrick White à la voix, Martin Ferron (Pouet) et Jacques Bérubé aux guitares et Nicolas Godbout à la batterie, ils sintitulaient Brotherhood. Le son et lenthousiasme étaient très présents.Plus ils avançaient, plus leur engouement pour le hardcore grandissait. Cest alors que Jacques quitte le groupe pour laisser la place à François Genest à la guitare rythmique. Le nom du groupe était à ce moment Another Defiance et le hardcore était définitivement leur style.Pour combler le manque de basse, François a tenté de remplir cette fonction, mais son intérêt était vraiment axé vers sa guitare. Cest alors que Jean-François Vincent est apparu et s'est transformé en bassiste sans hésiter. C'est avec cette formation que Crest Of Honor est né. Ensuite, quelque part en 2004, afin d'amener au groupe une touche metal, Sébastien Guguy (Guts), ancien chanteur des défunts Ending Hate et de Lapse Of Memory, s'est joint à COH pour occuper le poste de chanteur. Sa venue dans le groupe a été une décision entièrement bénéfique, et pour cause ! Depuis la fondation du groupe, chacun des membres éprouve un énorme plaisir à exprimer leurs émotions et leurs convictions en musique et à faire danser tout ceux qui se présentent à leur spectacle.================================================** *English Version***In the beginning, back in 1998, four young fellows inspired by the punk spirit got together in a basement to discover the fabulous world of music. With Patrick White on vocals, Martin Ferron and Jacques Bérubé on guitars and Nicolas Godbout on the drums, the band was called Brotherhood. The sound and the enthusiasm were really there.Day after day, their love for hardcore music was growing up. Then, came the day when Jacques left the band and gave his rhythm guitar role to François Genest (Frank). At this moment, the name of the band was Another Defiance and hardcore music was definitely their way.In order to fill in the lack of bass, Frank attempted to make a bass player out of himself, but his real interest was his guitar. Then, Jean-François Vincent (Jeff) appeared and instantly became our bass player without any hesitation. With this lineup, Crest Of Honor is born. After, somewhere in 2004, in order to give the band a more metal sound, Sebastien Guguy (Guts), former vocalist for Ending Hate and Lapse Of Memory, joined COH as the main vocalist. His presence now in the band is entirely necessary and beneficial. Since the foundation of the band, every single member takes a huge pleasure in expressing their emotions and their convictions in music and in seeing people get crazy and have a good time at their shows.
