"Changing the lives of women ...through personal developement, scholastic excellence and community service." _______________________________________________ Butterfly Program; This program is an eight month program designed to empower adolescents and teens. Ages 11-19 (if a senior) are accepted into the butterfly program.Each girl is assigned a mentor whom they have access to as needed. The mentors of the program act as confidants, advisors and role models. The mentor works on a one on one basis with each girl so that all personal needs are met.There are monthly group meetings where all participants come together for activities that promotes knowledge, skill and self esteem. Throughout the eight months there are several overnight away meetings that promote responsibility, friendship, teamwork and of course fun.The eight month program concludes with a weekend getaway and Gala, where scholarships are awarded to senior participants. The Butterfly Program offers a wide range of activites that help our girls become the women they want and deserve to be. This program aids the girls by teaching them the skills they need to burst through the cocoons and emerge as beautiful butterflies capable of flying into a brighter future.____________________________________________________The Womens Division Members act as a support group for each other. We meet monthly and enjoy activities that: broaden the mind, feeds the soul and warms the heart.We are women who listen and understand each other.
