I'm not too good at these things. I don't want to tell people my life story, but on the other hand I hate it when people just write something like "I like cheese," and leave it at that. So here it is, or here I am.I'm in to lots of do-it yourself projects. I'm not very good at too many actually but I have made my own wine, soap, furniture, and done a few home improvements successfully. I'm learning to build houses by volunteering at habitat for humanity. I hope to build my own house someday. I really like working with habitat since I sit behind a desk all day. Sitting behind a desk all day makes hanging drywall seem exiting :)I have a love-hate relationship with politics. I'm an independent, but sometimes I lean kind of libertarian. I'm not really happy with both parties, and am not really a liberal or conservitive. I just go by the issue. If you want to ask me about politics, ask me about an issue.Religious wise, I guess I'm a plain old Deist except that I actually obay most of the stuff that Catholics should but don't. My mom always tells me I'd make a great Catholic (my folks are Catholic.)I like writing. I'm trying to finish up a book now but the editing and grammer are killing me. I used to be in a band, and still write music here and there,
but I keep to myself a lot, so I don't like driving to and from practice, to and from shows. Er... I don't know. I'm getting too old or something.I really want to adopt kids some day. Many people have a problem with
the idea of adopting children. Well, they will always sasy it's a great idea, but a lot of people never really want to do it themsleves. The way I look at it is there are 6 billion people in the world, & 100 million orphans. I don't really feel the need to create more children & more people. I admit I'd probably
almost feel guilty creating a new life.
I don't have a problem with adoption because I think as long as you raise
a child from a baby on, it's your child. I don't really care about
biological stuff. Foreign and inter-racial adoption isn't an issue for me
either.My personality is kind of hard to explain. I stay at home a lot. I keep a small group of friends and family close by. I think I'm an alpha-male trapped inside an ackward guys body. Hmmm... I'll have to think about this more...
