Best Pals

This is what Saturday night is gonna look like!

About Me

Three of us have been friends for 15+ years, and Phil has been around for the last 7. Nicole wanted to learn how to play drums, I said I would jam with her, Colin moved back from Boston and we got a bass player, we asked Phil right before our first show if he would be into playing tamborine and dancing and the rest is history. We generaly only play all ages shows, there have been some exceptions, I am sure there will be more, but you know we try to do it for the kids. We are into being the best people we can be and the best band we can be.

My Interests

Music:

Band Members: Colin "Tree Trunk" Lapuyade-bass and voxx, Nicole "Cha Cha" Lapuyade-drums, Gabe "Lump Dog" Lucas-guitar and voxx, Phil "Bobby the Doom" Dueminile-Tamborine, dances, shouts, and screams.
Influences: Our biggest influnces are you, the ones who bring us joy and strength, who steer us right when things go horribly wrong, you who come with freindship and open hearts! Best Pals is all about friends, our friends, your friends, whoevers friends. Sometimes we all blow it, and without our friends we would be lost in a sea of despare. Best Pals is the beacon that can guide us all to calmer waters! As for bands though: Buzzcocks, The Clash, The Ramones, Misfits, Green Day, Crimpshrine, Youth of Today, Gorrilla Biscuts, The Dickies, The Jam, The Last, Screeching Weasle, Naked Raygun, B-52's, Roky Erickson, Sonic Youth, Andrew WK, The Minutemen, Urge Overkill, Kalmex & the Riffmerchants, and of course all the wonderful people we have all been in bands with down the years. I would also like to say we are taking "posi" back from staight edge hardcore and making it for the regular old punks again, because we need more to be positive about.
Sounds Like: We don't unfortunatly sound like Kalmex & the Riffmerchants, we do sound like Green Day, Cringer, Crimpshrine, and The Dickies. Some People say we sound like a cross between Misfits and The Clash, but I don't know.
Record Label: Broken Rekids, Cochone Records
Type of Label: Indie
