i want to bask with all of humanity in celebration of our own confusion. i just want to go out tonight and see what every kid in the whole world is doing. i want to get caught up in the race and the struggle and have fun. you are beautiful and i think i like what i think i know about you. i just pulled up to the drive-in movie of my life, a film called perspective. i only see what i want to see and so far it's been pretty remarkable. so when you're in america wandering through indignant backwater burgs or lounging in east side tenament cold water flats and you're down and things don't look like you expect them to, desolate down from delicate cool hip streets and commercials infinitely raining through anonymous recievers in the night, try to smile when you think of me because i love you
