I am Ra, the Creator and God of the Sun. Daily I make my journey across the sky in my barge. Often times, my wife Hathor comes with me. I was once guarded by the irritable god, Set, but he has betrayed us and has been cast out from among the Gods. Nephthys, Set's wife still walks with me in the Underworld during the night. He once slew the evil serpent Apep and was honored for it, but no amount of honor may redeem him now. I am a Mighty God, God of the Sun, Creator of the land, and I am potent, yet merciful.
