About Me

Thanks for stopping by. As you can see, I have a bit of work to do filling up ‘my space’. I’ll keep it short for now, and fill things in a bit more as we go. Cool? Excellent, here we go… I’m a bit of an adventurer, a bit of an old man, and maybe just a bit of a kid as well. I’m always up for a new experience, and meeting new people. Perhaps that’s why I’m here, no?I plan parties and play matchmaker for a living, so I get to have new experiences and meet new people on the regular. I work for matchLIVE (match.com) planning singles parties and getting folks together. If the idea of meeting new people is something you're into then check out the matchlive website. There is always something interesting there. I host almost everything on matchLIVE so the vibe is always positive. Check out the matchLIVE website or evite for details on the party. OK...shameless plug over!!

My Interests

I've been boring lately...movies, music, partying (it's my job), trying to work out, world history, politics, people, pleasure, searching for the meaning of life (corny, huh?)

I'd like to meet:

Hmmm... I don't want to sound too sensitive, weird, intense, or goofy here my friends. I think what I'm looking for is someone to share emotions and great times with. I'd like to know somemone that inspires feelings within me and makes me a better me. I've alway been a bit of a romantic as well. I'd like to know a woman that can appreciate that quality. I guess what I want is a friend, a cohort, an accomplice, a playmate, and a lover.

Music:

Maria, DMX, Sting, Miles, Etta James, Sade, Robyn S., Res, Kina,Seth Horan, Soundtracks, Chemical Brothers, Art of Noise, Boney James, Gershwin, Beethoven, Oakenfold, Vangelis, Niacin, etc

Movies:

Pirates of the Caribbean, Formula 51, Blade Runner, Clockwork Orange, Snatch, Trainspotting, Boondock Saints, Glory, etc, etc, etc.

Television:

I haven't really watched tele for a few months...is there anything good on tonight? Not to sound cliche but I do like the History Channel, the Learning Channel, and stuff like them.

Books:

Pillars of the Earth - Ken Follet, the Autobiography of Malcolm X - Alex Haley, and some history stuff

Heroes:

People who meet the challenges of life without fear (or with courage despite their fears), people who are willing to sacrifice themselves for the greater good or the benefit of others

My Blog

questions relating to society

So here I am cruising the 'myspace scene', as it is. I'm truly amazed at all the pop culture, pseudo-intellectual, "I'm a bad ass" crap that is posted online. It would be funny if it wasn't so sad. ...

life's filthy lessons

The more love you show someone the less love you get in return. Love should be selfless right? Should you love someone who clearly has no love for you? When you love somebody, set them free...
