font-weight: bold;Well, I've an adventuresome life thus far! I was married to a wonderful man for a little over 8 years and we have three children together. Our daughter is 9 and boys are 6... yup they are twins! They stay most of the year in Minnesota with their father and step-mother. I see them about every 6 weeks and they stay with me all summer. The schools are horrible here, compared to their amazing schools... going from 15 kids in a classroom to around 30-35 is not my idea of a good education. They also have their friends there and seem to like living in the middle of nowhere!!I moved to Las Vegas with my ex-boyfriend as part of a teaching program, but teaching elementary school is not my thing, and they didn't think so either! LOL
So now I'm living in Sin City, meeting people and having an blast while working on my master's degree at the University of Nevada- Las Vegas. I substitute teach here and there and work as a graduate assistant at UNLV. I'll be done next December, then I hope to teach at a college level... Professor Branton sounds pretty good!
I taught in Watts (Compton, LA) over last summer and loved staying in Los Angeles for a little bit. I love traveling, since my ex husband was in the special forces, we moved around a lot. I've lived in Savannah, Georgia... New York, BFE Minnesota, and of course Michigan (Ann Arbor, Wixom, and the Port!)I love catching up with those I've met throughout my life and travels- we all change but keep the memories with us. It's always good to remember where you've come from and where you've been- even if it is a place like Portuckey!Lately I've had a lot of changes.... my boyfriend of almost two years broke up with me. The pain and hurt is something I've never felt before. It has made me wake and realize that I need to appreciate what I have. I love him but there's no way to fix the relationship, so I have to move on. That's the road ahead for me right now..... figure out what I want out of life. Without getting over him, I'll never be able to love or trust again. The sad thing is that I would do anything to have him love me again, but I need this time for me. I've never really dated or been single... And here I am in Las Vegas, where better to be a single woman?Live and learn.... what a lesson I've learned...
