About Me

.. I'm the singer in the band Boomclick Soundsystem, which is how I ended up on MySpace in the first place... if you get a chance, take a listen at myspace.com/boomclicksoundsystem , or check my profile song (can sometimes be temperamental). I collaborate with other bands when asked nicely - I've done a fair few sessions in various studios and the odd gig here and there. Most recently I've worked with Echaskech and can occasionally be found jamming with a few of the rockers at work.
Vocal appearances currently available for posterity include 'Sometimes' by Boomclick Soundsystem on one of the Cafe Karma compilations, songs on the Boomclick album 'Halfway Between Tomorrow and Yesterday', a duet with Pete Lawrence on Chilled By Nature's 'Under One Sun' and I wangled my way onto a remix on Swankz & Verbrili's 'Lifesavers' album. I've also hooked back up with Makif (the band) and now feature on three songs on their 'Armour' album. My vocal stylings with Echaskech are also available on the single 'Every Touch'.
Offstage I work in web production on the South Bank and I've worked in editorial, copywriting bits and bobs, and penning occasional reviews and any other stuff that's going. So if you need any vox or copy, drop me a line.
Or if you're just hanging out and fancy saying hello then go right ahead.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Drummers (particularly digital). Photographers. Film-makers. Agents. Articulate and unusual people. Oh, and people who think South East London is better than North London...

Interesting gigging

So the 16th of March brought with it not one but two gigs, which was rather exciting/slightly terrifying, given that we're not gigging so much these days. But the first was fabulous - The Un...

An afternoon on Hillyfields

If you've never been up to Hillyfields (and let's face it, why would you?) then you really should. Just recently while I have been sans employment, I've been taking a stroll up through the Brockley co...
