My Interests

Snowboarding, photography, film, music, literature, computers, travel, addiction, uncovering strange crap on the internet, researching bizarre sexual practices, the slander of 'celebrities', and interesting combinations of the above.

I'd like to meet:

Those who i would like to share a felafel with - Jesus, Muhammed, Buddha Shakyamuni, Ghandi, Hitler, Einstein, Cleopatra, William S Burroughs, Salvador Dali, Hugh Hefner, Eddie Maguire (to punch in the face), and L Ron Hubbard (for the same reason).

Music:

My new greatests bestest band of all time is the totally awesome 30 Seconds To Mars - it's so not true that actors don't have great bands (just look at russel crowe), and besides they always make really awesome videos cause they're so used to acting lots. ummm but seriously there's Sigur Ros, Tool, Swans, Radiohead, Bloc Party, Sisters of Mercy, System of a Down, A Perfect Circle, Deftones, Team Sleep, Faith No More, Fantomas, Mr Bungle (in fact almost anything with Mike Patton), Gorillaz, Underworld, Faithless, At The Drive-In, The Mars Volta, The Smashing Pumpkins (Siamese Dream is probably one of the best albums of the 90's but anything post Mellon Collie is balls), Nirvana, Rage Against The Machine, Kyuss, Queens of the Stone Age, Cog, Wolfmother, Pink Floyd, the Beatles, Jane's Addiction, Bob Marley, Rammstein, Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson, Eric Prydz, Tom Novy, Tiesto, Trentemoller, Tom Waits, minimal electro, and I have an unfortunate weakness for just about any house remix of obscure 80's 'classics'...

Movies:

Of course there is no order to this stream of conciousness list of great movies - Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Team America, Anchorman, Fight Club, Memento, Shaun of the Dead, Dawn of the Dead (even quite liked the remake!), Day of the Dead, Night of the Living Dead (any movie with 'dead' in the title), The Mislaid Genie, Se7en, Being John Malkovitch, Point Break, Human Nature, Predator, Alien and Aliens, the Incredibles, Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill, Amelie, Lord Of War, Austin Powers 1 and 2, the South Park Movie, Bubba Ho-Tep, Requiem for a Dream, The Empire Strikes Back, Raiders of the Lost Ark, 2046, Shaolin Soccer, Wolf Creek, 40 Year Old Virgin, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Sin City, Trainspotting, Salton Sea, Full Metal Jacket, Apocalypse Now, Boogie Nights, Hero, Bad Santa, Closer, American Beauty, the Usual Suspects, Traffic...

Television:

is a tool for controlling the masses and keeping people stupid, uninteresting and (quietly)medicated. big brother is the antichrist, spread the word. and yes i do appreciate the irony that i am currently working for a television network.

Books:

all William Burroughs and beat writers like Kerouac, Ginsberg, etc, most Irvine Welsh, most Chuck Palahniuk, most John Birmingham - "he died with a felafel..." is one of the funniest books ever - Grahame Greene, Goethe, Ken Kesey...

Heroes:

Albert Hoffman and LSD, today the pigeon nesting on my balcony for the second time (I admire it's persistence)
