Former hipster finally settling down into domestic bliss (or mess, sometmes)...I live with two incredibly destructive forces of nature--Drusilla and Amy--that I love very much...always seeking out new tunes/bands/vinyl etc....doing the holiday radio extravaganza on WLFR ("Christmas Chaos")...still despondent over the departure of our beloved hockey franchise,ECHL 2003 Kelly Cup Champions, the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies to the financially sunnier climate of Stockton, California (former home of PAVEMENT!!!)...(they say there'll be another pro hockey team here in the Atlantic City area soon, but I'm not holding my breath)...finding and sharing a life of love (and a love of music) with AMY! The night I saw My Bloody Valentine in Washington, D.C. at 9:30 Club we were standing around outside after everyone was leaving the club (Jeremy and I hung out with the band that night) and I look down and see these two rats come running SUPER FAST across the sidewalk one behind another and then run up the side of the building vertically, ala Batman and Robin, it was kinda trippy!! My whole life was fucked when the British versions of the Beatles albums became the only ones available--it threw my whole universe into turmoil...where were all those big booming,fake stereo echo-ey songs that I grew up listening to??? These UK versions were all flat, and muted sounding, like they were recorded in a muffled closet!!! Myspace friends MIA's: Lord Whimsy,Vic "Voodoo G" Garrison,Spaceboy Music,Roy Somers,I Dislike You,Winona Ryder, the Shop Assistants profile (someone else has created one, so scratch that!)....etc....Where are ye??? Also, when women wear hosiery it is fuckin' HOT! So the fashionistas and naysayers can bite me.....
