Sounds Like: "After a few beers the band took to the stage with their trademark swaggers and a presence that demands attention. But don't be fooled into thinking they're just another Oasis/Indie rip off band, their songs distance them from being categorised and have a unique raw punchy edge to them. From the onset the Kicks drew in the crowd and captured their attention with apparant ease, their passion for the music is clear.
The lyrics aren't the same shit we've heard over an over, but are refreshingly original, I especially love the lyrics to "English Rain" (listen to them on this page) But check out Karma Queen and "make the most of being unemployed" If you get a chance, go and see them on the small stage, they won't be there for long..."
