About Me

I'm a 44 year old single Mom whose 18 year old baby girl went off to college in August after graduating Valedictorian (1st of 510 students), just in time for her 23 year old brother to come back to "decorate" the couch for a while. Thought I was gonna be an empty nester (well except for the bunny, guinea pig and 2 cats), but apparently my boy thinks otherwise, but it's all good, he's good company when he's around. I can even get him to pick up his stuff once in a while!!!! I have been pretty much defined by being a hard-working single Mom for the last 24ish years and am just now starting to think about doing more things for myself. No more wrestling, baseball, Campfire, soccer or dance classes to drive to after work. Maybe I'll take some classes, hit up the gym more often, and maybe even finally get that gastric bypass and go from a Lion to a sexy little feline so I can get back to my own dancing. But still, my family is everything so I don't think I'll get too selfish!!

I'd like to meet:

Tolerant and patient people. I'm sometimes very slow at returning messages, but I always get to them eventually. And even if I don't appear for a while, I'm just in hibernation, I don't ever write people off.

Music:

love it all except for hard rap and elevator music, favorite is Aerosmith

Movies:

Wizard of Oz is my very favorite, but i'll watch anything. I do love Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings, all Horror movies, the frat pack movies, really I love almost every movie I see

Television:

Totally miss Buffy, Angel, Roswell, Charmed. Love Survivor, Amazing Race, Supernatural, Dancing with the Stars

Books:

Anything Stephen King, Dean Koontz, John Saul, Peter Straub, love the scary!!

Heroes:

too many to list . . . maybe my kids for surviving being raised by a wack job mom like me and extra kudos to my girl for working her big brain so hard and extra encouragement for my boy to keep on trying!!! And my parents who were the best and only father my children ever had!!
